How to go from Haeundae to Gimhae Airport

There are two ways to get to the airport from Haeundae. The first is how to use the subway. Take the subway at Haeundae Station on Line 2, then transfer to the Busan Gimhae Line (부산김포선) at Sasang Station (사상역) and get off at Airport Station. It takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. To get from Jeju Airport to downtown Jeju City, you can take almost any bus from the airport. Representative numbers include 316, 325, 326, 43-2, and 366. Depending on the location of your accommodation, you can take a bus.

 

 

How to go to Seogwipo from Jeju Airport

Seogwipo City is located on the same island; however, because Jeju Island is somewhat large, getting there takes some time. There is a direct airport bus number 800-1 to Seogwipo City. You can take the bus right in front of the airport exit.
Also, there is a regular metropolitan bus number 182. This is also a direct bus, and you can take the bus at sign 5 right at the airport exit.
Both take about 1 hour and 30 minutes, and the price is similar at around 5,000 won.

 

 

How to go Busan to Jeju Island by ferry (for cars, camping cars, and bicycles)

There are various companies that operate ferries to go to Jeju. But I will focus on MS Ferry (엠에스페리), the most representative company. Site Link. There are ships departing from Busan to Jeju every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (departure at 19:00, arrival at 07:00 the next day). Boats depart from Jeju every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday (departure at 18:30; arrival at 06:30 the next day). Please note that online reservations are not available from 12 p.m. to 4 a.m. KST. If you definitely want to go on a boat, it’s best to make a reservation at least a month in advance.

The 2nd class room sleeps 8 people and has 4 bunk beds. The price is 60,000 won (about 50 dollars) one way. The first class room sleeps four and costs about 70,000 won (about 60 dollars) one way. The special room is for two people and costs 190,000 won one way (about 140 dollars). Suites are the highest-class rooms and accommodate two people. The price is approximately 350,000 won one way (about 260 dollars).

You can also take your car with you. The one-way price for a small car is about 150,000 won (about $120), and for a large car it is about 300,000 won (about $220). For a camping car, the price is similar to the price of a large car. Also, loading your bike is free with no additional charges.
