The weather in Hanoi has a mild subtropical climate. Outside of the rainy season from May to September, it rains frequently, so an umbrella is essential no matter when you leave. Spring (March–April) and fall (October–November) are the best times to travel to Hanoi, with refreshing and warm weather.

It is midsummer, the rainiest and hottest time of the year. In addition, Hanoi is surrounded by large and small lakes, so the humidity is very high. A good fall day to travel
After the long rainy season, precipitation gradually decreases in October, ushering in a refreshing autumn.
